       Nursing Success NCLEX Scholarship Program

The Nursing Success NCLEX Scholarship Program (NSSP) aims to empower aspiring nurses across Mississippi by removing financial barriers to licensure. This initiative will cover the $200 NCLEX exam fee for eligible first-time Mississippi test-takers.

1. Scholarship Requirements:

  1. Be a Mississippi resident. (International students are not considered Mississippi residents for scholarship purposes due to their temporary visa status and lack of intent to remain indefinitely.)
  2. Must be a graduate of a Mississippi-accredited or approved pre-licensing nursing program.
  3. An application for licensure by examination must be on file, along with payment of fees via Gateway (for official transcript verification).
  4. First-time NCLEX exam taker.
  5. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (or equivalent academic standing in nursing school), demonstrating readiness for licensure.
  6. Submit one letter of recommendation from the dean of the school of nursing from a faculty member or clinical supervisor attesting to the applicant’s clinical competence and dedication.

Important: Incomplete applications will be disqualified. Please make sure you have met all the requirements before submitting your application.
